Two weeks ago I painted with a great group of people at Batiquitos Lagoon. It was a perfect day to paint, especially for January. I was able to paint 3 sketches for the day. For me, I love to paint there, because in my previous life as an architect, I helped lead the team that planned Aviara, which is where this area lies. So here I am 20 years later, painting a spot that we protected and designed in our vision for the area next to the lagoon.
